R34 Adventure Goes On
Lena Black & the Uptown Playboys helped to commemorate the R34 airship with a swing at Pulham.
The villagers came together to re-create the meal given to the crew in 1919 on their return from the first double Atlantic crossing.
A three course meal, including roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, live music and a speech by General Edward Maitland (aka Basil Abbott of Diss Museum) helped to celebrate Pulham’s airship past.
The event was part of the Norfolk’s American Connections project.
